Privacy Policy

Pointally (“Pointally,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) helps photographers organize assignments, track work activity, calculate points, review progress, and estimate bonus payouts.
This Privacy Policy explains what information Pointally may collect, how it is used, when it may be shared, and the choices available to you.
1. Information We Collect
Account information
When you sign in using Google, Pointally may receive basic account information authorized by you, including:
- Your name
- Email address
- Google profile photograph
- A unique account identifier
Pointally does not receive your Google password.
Information you enter
Pointally may store information you voluntarily provide, including:
- Assignment names and job identifiers
- Products, categories, tiers, and work types
- Points and productive-hour records
- Non-production, PTO, and travel hours
- Assignment dates
- Street addresses, cities, states, and ZIP codes
- Notes
- Goals and progress information
- Search history and recent selections
- Other information entered while using the app
Please avoid entering unnecessary confidential or sensitive personal information in notes or other free-text fields.
Imported information
When you import a CSV or another supported file, Pointally may process and store the information contained in that file. Import history may include the file name, import date, number of records, and related processing details.
Device and technical information
Pointally and its service providers may automatically process limited technical information needed to operate and secure the app, such as:
- Browser and device type
- Operating system
- IP address
- App version
- Error and diagnostic information
- Authentication and security events
- Local-storage, cache, and session information
Notifications
If notifications are offered and you enable them, Pointally may store your notification preferences and a device or browser notification token. You can disable notifications through your browser or device settings.
Location information
Pointally may store addresses you enter manually. Pointally does not collect precise GPS location unless a location-based feature is introduced, clearly disclosed, and you grant permission.
2. How We Use Information
Pointally may use information to:
- Create and authenticate your account
- Save and synchronize your work records
- Calculate points, hours, progress, reports, goals, and estimated bonus payouts
- Provide search, import, and history features
- Personalize your experience
- Maintain app functionality across supported devices
- Respond to support or privacy requests
- Detect misuse, fraud, or security threats
- Diagnose errors and improve reliability
- Send notifications you have chosen to receive
- Comply with applicable legal obligations
Pointally's calculations, reports, goals, and bonus information are organizational estimates and should not be treated as official payroll or employment records.
3. Service Providers
Pointally may rely on third-party providers to operate the app, including:
- Google and Firebase for services such as authentication, data storage, and application infrastructure
- Cloudflare for services such as hosting, content delivery, security, and network performance
- Your browser or device for local storage, caching, and installed-web-app functionality
These providers may process limited information on Pointally's behalf according to their own privacy terms and contractual obligations.
4. How Information Is Shared
Pointally may share information only when reasonably necessary:
- With service providers that operate or protect the app
- When required by law, court order, or valid legal process
- To investigate fraud, abuse, security incidents, or threats to safety
- As part of a merger, acquisition, sale, or transfer of the app or its assets
- With your direction or consent
Pointally does not sell or rent your personal information. Pointally does not use your work records for third-party targeted advertising.
5. Data Retention
Information may be retained while your account remains active and for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain security, satisfy legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce agreements.
Deleted information may remain temporarily in backups, logs, or cached systems before being removed through normal retention processes.
Deleting Pointally from your device or clearing your browser does not necessarily delete information stored with your online account.
6. Your Choices and Rights
Depending on the app's available controls and the laws where you live, you may be able to:
- Review or update your account information
- Add, edit, or delete work records
- Clear recent searches or locally stored information
- Disable notifications
- Revoke Pointally's access through your Google Account settings
- Request access to or correction of your personal information
- Request deletion of your account and associated information
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Request a portable copy of eligible information
To make a privacy or account-deletion request, contact us using the information below. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
7. Data Security
Pointally uses reasonable administrative and technical safeguards intended to protect information from unauthorized access, alteration, loss, misuse, or disclosure.
No internet service, storage system, or transmission method is completely secure. Pointally therefore cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children's Privacy
Pointally is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to Pointally, contact us so the information can be reviewed and removed where appropriate.
9. Third-Party Links and Services
Pointally may contain links to or interact with third-party services. Their handling of information is governed by their own privacy policies, not this Privacy Policy.
10. Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated when Pointally's features, service providers, or legal obligations change. The updated policy will display a revised effective date. Material changes may also be communicated within the app or through another appropriate method.

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Pointally, including its website, installed web application, features, content, and related services (“Pointally” or the “Service”).
Pointally is owned and operated by Adnan Jebbeh (“we,” “us,” or “our”).
By accessing or using Pointally, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. About Pointally
Pointally is a work-tracking and organizational application designed primarily for photographers. It allows users to record assignments, points, hours, addresses, notes, goals, progress, and other work-related information.
Pointally may also provide reports, calculations, and estimated bonus or payout information.
Pointally is an independent organizational tool. It is not an employer, payroll provider, accounting service, financial adviser, or official employment-record system.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Pointally. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, you may use Pointally only with permission from a parent or legal guardian.
You may not use Pointally if doing so would violate applicable law or an agreement that applies to you.
3. Accounts and Sign-In
Some features require you to sign in using Google or another supported account provider.
You agree to:
- Provide accurate account information
- Maintain the security of your account
- Use only an account you are authorized to access
- Notify us if you believe your account has been compromised
- Accept responsibility for activity performed through your account
We are not responsible for losses caused by your failure to protect your account or device.
4. Limited License
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Pointally for lawful personal or internal professional purposes.
This license allows you to use the Service. It does not transfer ownership of Pointally or any intellectual property associated with it.
You may not copy, sell, sublicense, distribute, reverse engineer, scrape, republish, or commercially exploit Pointally except where applicable law expressly permits it.
5. Your Information and Content
You retain ownership of information you enter or import into Pointally, including work records, assignment information, addresses, notes, and CSV data (“User Content”).
You grant us a limited license to host, store, process, reproduce, and display your User Content only as reasonably necessary to operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Service.
You are responsible for ensuring that:
- Your User Content is accurate and lawful
- You have permission to enter or import the information
- Your content does not violate another person's rights
- You do not enter unnecessary confidential or sensitive information
- You maintain any independent backups you require
We do not claim ownership of your User Content.
6. Acceptable Use
You may not use Pointally to:
- Violate any law, regulation, contract, or third-party right
- Access another person's account or information without authorization
- Upload malware, harmful code, or corrupted data
- Interfere with the operation or security of the Service
- Circumvent authentication or security controls
- Probe, scan, or test vulnerabilities without written authorization
- Harass, impersonate, deceive, or harm another person
- Collect information about other users without permission
- Automate access in a manner that burdens or disrupts the Service
- Copy, reproduce, modify, or redistribute protected portions of Pointally
- Remove copyright, trademark, or ownership notices
- Use Pointally to create or support a substantially similar competing product through unauthorized copying
We may restrict or terminate access when we reasonably believe these rules have been violated.
7. Calculations and Estimates
Points, productive hours, progress measurements, goals, reports, bonus amounts, payout dates, and other calculations displayed by Pointally are informational estimates based on available data and configured rules.
They may be incomplete, delayed, or incorrect.
You are responsible for verifying important information against official employer, payroll, assignment, or financial records. Do not rely on Pointally as the sole basis for employment, payroll, tax, financial, or legal decisions.
Pointally does not guarantee that an employer or other organization will accept its calculations.
8. Employer and Third-Party Independence
Unless expressly stated otherwise, Pointally is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or operated by your employer, Google, Firebase, Cloudflare, or any product, company, platform, or organization referenced within the Service.
Names, marks, and services belonging to third parties remain the property of their respective owners.
9. Third-Party Services
Pointally may use or link to third-party services, including authentication, hosting, database, mapping, notification, or infrastructure providers.
Your use of those services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services, content, outages, security, or business practices beyond our reasonable control.
10. Privacy
Our collection and use of personal information are described in the . By using the Service, you acknowledge that you have reviewed that policy.
11. Ownership of Pointally
Pointally™, including its original source code, interface, organization, written content, branding, graphics, and original visual elements, is owned by Adnan Jebbeh or used under an applicable license.
Pointally is protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable intellectual-property laws.
Except for the limited right to use the Service under these Terms, no rights are granted to you. Unauthorized copying, reproduction, modification, publication, redistribution, sale, or commercial use of protected portions of Pointally is prohibited.
Feedback or suggestions you voluntarily provide may be used to improve Pointally without an obligation to compensate you. This does not give us ownership of your User Content.
12. Service Availability and Changes
We may add, change, suspend, or remove features at any time. We do not guarantee that Pointally will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
Maintenance, technical failures, third-party outages, security concerns, or other circumstances may temporarily prevent access.
You are responsible for maintaining independent copies of information you cannot afford to lose.
13. Suspension and Termination
You may stop using Pointally at any time.
We may suspend or terminate access if you:
- Materially violate these Terms
- Use the Service unlawfully or abusively
- Create a security or operational risk
- Fail to comply with applicable requirements
- Engage in conduct that may harm Pointally or another person
Where reasonable, we may provide notice or an opportunity to correct the issue. Immediate action may be taken when necessary to protect users, information, or the Service.
Sections that by their nature should continue after termination—including ownership, disclaimers, limitations, and responsibility for prior conduct—will survive.
14. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pointally is provided “as is” and “as available.”
We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and reliability.
We do not promise that:
- Calculations or reports will always be accurate
- The Service will meet every requirement
- Access will be continuous or error-free
- Every defect will be corrected
- Stored information will never be lost or damaged
Some jurisdictions do not permit certain warranty exclusions, so portions of this section may not apply to you.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Adnan Jebbeh and Pointally will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or connected to your use of the Service.
This includes loss of data, income, employment opportunities, bonus payments, profits, business, or reputation.
Our total liability for claims relating to Pointally will not exceed the greater of:
- The amount you paid to use Pointally during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim; or
- Fifty U.S. dollars (US $50)
These limitations do not exclude liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded.
16. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Adnan Jebbeh and Pointally from claims, damages, losses, and reasonable expenses resulting from:
- Your unlawful use of Pointally
- Your material violation of these Terms
- Your User Content
- Your infringement of another person's rights
This provision does not apply where prohibited by applicable law.
17. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be handled by a court with lawful jurisdiction, subject to any consumer protections or legal rights that apply where you live.
18. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as Pointally changes.
The revised Terms will display a new effective date. If a change materially affects your rights, we may provide additional notice within the Service or through another reasonable method.
Continuing to use Pointally after updated Terms become effective means you accept the revised Terms.
19. General Provisions
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain effective.
Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
These Terms and the Privacy Policy constitute the agreement between you and us concerning your use of Pointally, except where additional written terms expressly apply.
You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our written permission. We may transfer our rights and obligations as part of a business reorganization, sale, or transfer of Pointally.

Access to or use of Pointally does not transfer ownership of the application or any related intellectual property.
Permitted Use
Users receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable right to use Pointally according to its Terms of Use.

Pointally Name and Branding
Pointally™, its name, logo, tagline, and other identifying branding are owned by Adnan Jebbeh.
The ™ symbol indicates a claim of trademark rights. It does not represent federal trademark registration.
You may not use Pointally's name, logo, or branding in a manner that falsely suggests affiliation, sponsorship, endorsement, or ownership.
User Content
Users retain ownership of information they enter or import into Pointally, including assignments, work records, addresses, notes, and uploaded data.
Using Pointally does not transfer ownership of that information to Adnan Jebbeh. Users grant only the limited permission necessary to store, process, display, and synchronize their information while providing the Service, as described in the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
Third-Party Materials
Names, trademarks, logos, services, and other materials belonging to third parties remain the property of their respective owners.
Their appearance within Pointally does not imply that Pointally is affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by those parties unless expressly stated.
Feedback and Suggestions
Users may voluntarily provide suggestions or feedback about Pointally. Such feedback may be used to maintain, improve, or develop the application without compensation or obligation.
Providing feedback does not transfer ownership of the user's work records or other User Content.

If you believe content within Pointally infringes your copyright or other intellectual-property rights, contact:
